The annual "Student Research Symposium" is a venue for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students from area schools and universities to present posters on their research. The symposium is multidisciplinary and includes research in all areas of : Arts and Humanities; Social Science; and STEM [Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics]. The event, sponsored by the university HSSM Research Society, is a free event for any high school, undergraduate, or graduate student who wishes to present a poster by submitting an abstract for approval and consideration in the symposium. The event is open to the public and is a great way to showcase student research around the area. All selected participants will have their abstracts published in the symposium program and will receive a certificate of participation.
