Constructed: 2000 The Connally Missions Center, opened on February 18, 2000, was made possible through several gifts, including the lead gift from Dr. Virginia Boyd Connally, a dedicated supporter of missions for whom the building is named. The purpose of the Missions Center is to make students, faculty, and staff aware of missions and to challenge them to be involved in reaching out to the world. The building provides a permanent home to Baptist Student Ministries (BSM), housing staff offices and the offices of the BSM director and the university chaplain. This building is also home to the Office of Neighborhood Enhancement, which sponsors community outreach activities.
